How The Cultural Trust Impacts Quad City Botanical Center

Situated on over 9 acres located along the Mississippi River in Rock Island, the Quad City Botanical Centers offers something of interest for everyone in the community, every season of the year.  With a living facility boasting everything from a tropical atrium with carefully curated selections to a one-of-a-kind Children’s Garden welcoming exploration and free-play, the gardens welcome over 45,000 guests on an annual basis in an effort to bring people and plants together in fun and meaningful ways.  Each year, the Center also serves over 10,000 students in a living classroom as well as brings hands-on education into school throughout the community.

The Botanical Center proudly serves students of all ages. This includes 2,022 children in K-12 grade. 60% of these kids are students at low-income schools in the Quad Cities.
